Zone 14 in Chennai soon to have Water and Sewage Connection

Today, a lot of project works are going on in and around Chennai. This made the local people to raise a lot of question to the government. For example, the residents of zone 14 have come with a question. The question would be why they have to pay tax for sewage connection right now when the work completion takes quite a long time, stated Amar prakash builder review. The questions raised invariably causes the following response. That is, tax payment is compulsory to permit work over the sewerage project. Perungudi is the region coming under Zone 14 and the region is totally divided into 11 divisions that are Ullagaram, Madipakkam, Puzhuthivakkam, Pallikaranai and Perungudi. The local people are now visiting the officials to slot out the problem. Also, they have got sign from many local people and submitted it in the office. In other case, they have collected money and have paid for the sewerage connection.

In the general discussion page named as Amar prakash builder review, an individual have posted that initially Perungudi was within the limit of Panchayat, he told that the residents here were told to pay an amount of Rs.5000. As per the opinion of common people, it is reported that this kind of activity is totally unfair because asking the residents to pay money before the work gets complete is not acceptable. This is practiced in not just one location, but in almost everywhere. The specialist says that this kind of activity of the government has let them to complaint regarding the excessive number of months delay in the completion of the sewage work which has been exactly started before 2 years and still construction is going on.

In the Chennai Metropolitan Water Swage Board that is fixed at Puzhuthivakkam, a note has been fitted telling, the water and sewage tax that is collected by the board is a component of the tax charged for the property by the civic board, explained in Amar prakash builder review. The officials claimed that totally 7% per annum could be claimed on the yearly value. This 7% of levy collected from common people would be utilized for developing water/sewage infrastructure project. The levy has to be paid irrespective of the fact whether connection is provided or not.

The first 2 divisions that get both of the connection are Puzhuthivakkam and Ullagaram. Around 95% of the infrastructure work has got over. The remaining 5% work is just an integration job and it would take about 3 to 4 months for completion, said the sources. It can be said that only in this division of zone 14, work of both project was begun at the same stretch. At Perungudi, sewage connection was completed about 85% and soon, water connection work will get started. Depot office is the place for the payments to get collected. Even, the residents are offered with the facility of paying the bill through online by simply entering the division number, area number and bill number.
